Storage & Care Instructions

Kefir is alive — Because it’s naturally fermented and unpasteurised, it continues to ferment over time, even when stored in the fridge. That means it can get seriously fizzy, especially the longer it sits. To keep your kefir at its best:

Always store in the fridge
Keep your bottle chilled at all times. Leave it out of the fridge and it might go full-on volcano. Trust us, turmeric looks much better in your bottle than on your walls.

Open with care
This drink is naturally carbonated and gets more bubbly with time. Open slowly, over a sink if possible. Gently lift the swing top just a little at a time, letting the pressure release in small 'burps' — it will take a few goes before it calms down. It's worth the wait.

Sediment is natural
A gentle swirl helps mix in the good stuff at the bottom — that’s just sediment from all the fresh juice we use. Totally natural and totally drinkable.
